After many years of struggle weighing more than I should have ever been I have decided to start a new journey in my life. After talking to a friend of mine at work who runs a web site called FatGuyOnADiet.com I decided to jump on board and go on a diet.
Over 10 years ago my wife and I got married. At the time I was hovering around 205-210lbs and looked awesome. Not to say that marriage had anything to do with my increase in weight, but I believe it made me comfortable. Since then I had done weight watchers and at one point in 2001 I lost over 30lbs. Well….since then I have gained it all back.
My diet will be pretty simple, counting calories and being smart on intake and food choices.

My wife and I went shopping Sunday night and I thought I picked up some good items. I don’t want to go “All Natural”, so I will have some “TV DINNERS” in my diet (weightwatchers meals and Health Choice).
After each post to my blog I will post of a picture of my meal along with total calorie content for that meal with a grand total of calories for the entire day.
I will also be posting along with my meals my total calories burn from activity at my local gym 24hour Fitness in Arnold, MO.
My goal for this diet is to make it fun and exciting by having this blog keep me accountable to the “World” and my friends and family with losing weight.
It is very important for me to lose weight, period. Health is a big issue of mind that I want to get right and not have to deal with any major health issues down the road. I have been very lucky that I haven’t had any major issues up to this point.
So enough of me and my plan, let’s start this journey together.
