Howdy! It’s a beautiful day on a Sunday afternoon.  Pretty busy weekend so I finally got to sit down and write my entries for the last two days.

Here are my entries for Friday August 15, 2008 and Saturday August 16, 2008:

Friday August 15, 2008

Breakfast:

Fiber One Bar (Peanut Butter) – 150 calories
Starbucks Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato – 270 calories
Total for Breakfast: 420 Calories

Lunch:

For lunch I went out with the web development team to Fletchers at Crestwood Mall.

Lightly Battered Fried Cod Nuggets: 368 calories
On the Fried Cod this is abased on different calorie websites.  Fletchers might have even been better in calorie content. They make all their meals completely from scratch.
Cole slaw: 147 calories

Total for Lunch: 515 calories

Dinner:

My wife and I decided to go to Chili’s in Kirkwood, MO.  Service was very good.  We had a very cool waiter.

Chicken Enchilada Soup: Cup (220 calories)
½ serving of Citrus Fire Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas [w/o tortillas] (460 calories)
Qty: 3 – small flour tortillas: 438 calories
Total for Dinner: 1098 calories

The Citrus Fire Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas was an absolutely fabulous meal.  Pretty huge serving, though,  so I only able to eat half.  I took the rest the home for my wife.  The shrimp was plumb and cooked just right.  Onions and vegetables could have been cooked a little longer on the grill.  Highly recommended entrée!!

Total for August 13, 2008: 2033 calories

Saturday August 15, 2008

Saturday I had a haircut at 8:00 a.m. so my breakfast choices were you guessed it a Fiber one bar.

Breakfast:

Fiber one bar: 150 calories
Monster Energy Drink: 20 calories

I went into work from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. After I got off of work I wanted something quick for a lunch so I went to QuikTrip and had a spicy cheese taquito.

Lunch:
Spicy Cheese Taquito: 260 calories

Dinner:

For dinner I finally decided to go to McAlister’s Deli off of Lemay Road intersecting South Lindbergh across from South County Center Mall.

For starters, the décor of the place is pretty cool.  A little different layout than your traditional St. Louis Bread Company layout.  The menu is pretty vast.  When I was at home look at their menu I had my mind set on the Dinner Salmon, but they didn’t have that as a meal option so I went with the follow:

Chicken Fiesta Wrap – 600 calories
I talked to the store manager and they said they didn’t have any calorie info on this menu item since it is very new. So…this number is a guess.  I know the Chicken Cesar Wrap is about 560 calories.
The taste of this sandwich was ok. The wheat wrap seemed a little dry and it didn’t have a bold kick to the sandwich. Toward the end of the sandwich I had to start drowning the wrap in Tabasco sauce which they included on the table.

Macaroni & Cheese [6 oz] (300 calories)
McAllister’s Deli Macaroni & Cheese is pretty amazing.  I haven’t had a good Macaroni & Cheese for a long time and these guys seemed to perfect it. I got one as a side and got another one to split with Rachel.

I had their un-sweetened tea for my drink. Their Tea was very good also.

Total for Dinner: 900 calories
Total for Saturday August 16, 2008: 1330 calories

I wanted to add to my post when I was out later in the afternoon I got a massage at Massage Envy in Des Peres and saw this car in the parking lot.  Oh, Baby it was hot!
