Good morning!  It’s Monday. It’s about 5:10 a.m. and it’s dark and I want to go back to bed, but I’m slowly starting to perk up.

Breakfast:

Jimmy Dean Omelets: 240 Calories

2 Pieces of Low-Cal Toast: 80 Calories

2table spoons of Apple Butter: 60 calories

Total for Breakfast: 380 Calories

Lunch:

For lunch we went to Qdoba Mexican Grill.  I haven’t been to Qdoba since I have been on my weight loss journey and I know why.  I had the soft tacos with steak and when calculating the calories online it didn’t seem to be all that bad, but when they made my meal it looked about 200 calories more because they way the plopped the sour cream and cheese on.

The total for three soft tacos was 630, but I’m adding 200 more. So lets say: 830 calories.

As far as the taste,  It’s pretty darn awesome, but you feel pretty crappy after 1320mg of sodium for just 3 soft tacos. 

Total for Lunch: 830 calories

Dinner:

Dinner was much better.  Rachel and I went to Trader Joe’s to pick up some new entrées for this week.  There was a Noodles and Company right next door so we decided to have dinner there since Rachel had never been there before.  I wasn’t too impressed with the Pot Stickers and would not have them again. They were not your traditional Chinese steamed pot stickers.

 

Small Tomato Basil Soup – 210 calories
Pot stickers Qty: 6 – 490 calories
Flat bread – 240 calories
Total for Dinner: 940

Total for August 17, 2008: 2150 calories
