Friday September 5, 2008:

It’s Friday. Actually it is Saturday morning and I’m at work updating my blog from the last couple of days. I didn’t want to appear as a slacker and not be updating my blog so I’m catching up.  Things went very well this week with regards to staying on track with my diet.  My friend Luther who has the http://www.FatGuyonadiet.com web site just got a gym membership at Gold’s Gym so I now have someone to keep me accountable to working out.  I know as soon as I start doing a ton of cardio that pounds will really start coming off.

Breakfast:

HOTZI Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit from QuikTrip: 400 Calories
Monster Energy Drink: 20 Calories
Total for Breakfast: 420 Calories

Lunch:

Lunch was very yummy. Went out with some co-workers to Fletcher’s Kitchen at Crestwood Mall.  The special of the day was their Cajun Salmon.  It was absolutely yummy.  Very bold Cajun taste and the salmon was grilled to perfection.  With that I had ½ cup of their cole slaw which was also very yummy.  The very unique thing about Fletcher’s is they make all their meals from scratch.  I did not eat the grilled zuchini shown in the picture below.

10oz Cajun Salmon – 423 calories
½ cup of Coleslaw: 60 calories

Total for Lunch: 483 calories

Dinner:

I did not have any dinner because to be frank I was just not hungry. Rachel was at a golf tournament so I decided to treat myself to a massage at Massage Envy in Des Peres. After my massage I went a friend and had a couple of drinks over a couple of hours. 

Bud light lime: 116 calories
qty: 2 Small Margarita On-the-Rocks: 168×2= 336 calories

Total for the evening: 452 calories

Amazingly this is why you don’t have drinks when you are on a diet. 452 calories is quite nuts.
