Howdy everyone. Well I finally had some time to sit down and reflect so far on my weight loss journey. I haven’t done too bad so far, but I feel like I want to crank it up a notch with better choices on food and adding exercising now. I had some good activity this past Saturday. I went with a friend up to the driving range and hit about 50 golf balls. I was very soar come Sunday morning. My plan is to start getting up early in the morning and put about 30-45 minutes of cardio in at 24 hour fitness in Arnold, MO.
With regards to meal choices I want to start getting more creative. I feel sometimes that I’m on the go so much that I simply can’t find the time to “brown bag” throughout the day. So I’m going to have to plan more and slow down. We get so busy with our lives and forget to stop and think about what we are doing.
Anyway I’m listening to a very cool new album that DJ Sasha just released about a month ago called “Invo2ver”. Here is the link to Sasha’s MySpace page if you want to listen to some tracks off new album.
Well I hope all of you are keeping tabs on me. I still need lots of encouragement and suggestions since I still have a long journey ahead of me. I thought I show a recent picture I took of myself tonight sporting a new dress jacket I got from the Men’s warehouse along with my new prescription Oakley glasses. I felt like upgrading some of my wardrobe for winter as I continue to lose weight.

Today was a good eating day though my lunch didn’t come till 2:30 p.m.
Breakfast:
Everyone is probably thinking does this guy ever eat anything different for breakfast. Monday through Wednesday is very early mornings at work for me. Fiber one bars have been a great quick breakfast for me and usually keeps me full before lunch. The monster energy drink is simply a substitute sometimes for me other than straight coffee. Sorry I’m still a caffeine addict.
Fiber One Bar: 140 calories
Monster Energy Drink: 20 calories
Total for Breakfast: 160 calories
Lunch:
I had a late meeting today so I found a quick 140 calorie bag of Cool Ranch Doritos to hold me over until my 1:00 p.m. client meeting was over. Since I was still hungry I dropped into Steak and Shake and had a single steak burger with nothing on it except a little bit of ketchup.
Cool Ranch Doritos: 140 calories

The Original Single (330 cal/17 g fat/0 g fiber/29 g carbs)
Total for Lunch: 470 calories

Dinner:
Dinner was a repeat of a dinner I had about a month ago. Chili’s has some awesome Sizzling Fajitas and they allow you to control the amount you eat. I was pretty hungry tonight so I ate a ton of food, figuratively speaking.
Steak and Shrimp Fajitas: 870 calories

Small Flour Tortillas (qty: 4): 584 calories
Chicken Enchilada Soup: Cup (220 calories)

Total for dinner: 1674 calories
