			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I’m here to update all of you on my progress of my lifestyle and weight loss journey.  As of last Friday September 30, 2011 I weighed in a 257.8. Down from 310 July 1, 2010. For total loss of 52.2lbs.</div>

<p>It’s pretty hard to comprehend losing over 50lbs. It’s hard to conceive that I gained that much in the first place. 13 years ago I weighed just a little over 205lbs. Not to blame it on marriage, but when you get comfortable with anything you can let things slide. Weight was obviously one of things I let slide in my life.</p>
<p>I’m on a steady workout regimen now 2-4 days a week. Mostly 30-60 minute Interval workout sessions on the Elliptical. I can tell my legs are getting stronger which feels so good! Over the last week and ½ I have added machine weights.</p>
<p>I would encourage anybody struggling with weight loss to simply stick with it. I’m still using Weight Watchers Online simply because it keeps me accountable. I try to journal my food and gym activity every day. This is very important!</p>
<p>My next challenge is to start a treasure hunt for new exciting things to eat. Over the last two months I have cut my Carbohydrate intake by half. No more deserts, fast food, fried food, etc. is also part of the regime. Lately I have started to just eat a salad during lunch and if I get hungry eat some almonds at the 10:00 a.m. and 3 p.m. “hungry” times.</p>
<p>My last word of advice: “DRINK WATER”. I’ll say it again: “DRINK WATER”. Water is an amazing thing when losing weight. I try to drink 160oz of water a day and I my body tells me now when I don’t.</p>
<p>I want to thank you all (you know who you are) that have stuck with me so far through this journey and also ones that have provided words of encouragement.</p>
<p>I’m not done yet. My goal is to get back to 205. My next big goal is 230lbs. Let’s Keep Pressing On!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I’m actually for the first time excited about writing this blog post. For many years I have struggled with weight loss. On July 1, 2010 I joined Weight Watchers online. I have had great success with Weight Watchers in the past.  In 2001 I lost over 30 pounds.</p>
<p>The new Weight Watchers online is quite impressive and also comes with a downloadable iPhone application that allows you to track your points and enter food you have ate on the go so you don’t go over your points.</p>
<p>Since July 1, 2010 I’m down 11.4 lbs and I’m averaging 2.3lbs loss per week. My start weight was 310 pounds and my first goal is 294.5 lbs (5%). After this goal has been reached I’m shooting for another 5% for a total of 10%. In prior Weight Watcher meetings I attended that was the first “Traditional” goal to go after.</p>
<p>Food choices have been getting better also. I’ll be posting a review soon on the new Healthy Choice Café Steamers. Some are absolutely tasty and are a great quick lunch for around 5 to 6 points.</p>

<p>Today starts yet again a new journey in trying to lose weight. I still refuse to quit. I’m still using MyFoodDiary.com which has been a great resource for tracking my weight loss and what I eat.</p>
<p>When I first started this blog the weight started coming off because I was dedicated. I want to be dedicated to losing weight!  So hopefully with the help of my friends and Twitter Peeps we can all do this together.</p>

<p>Blogs, can be quite time consuming, so I haven&#8217;t had a chance to post anything lately about my weight loss journey version 3.0.</p>
<p>I signed up about 16 days ago with a service on line call MyFoodDiary.com.  It is very easy and helps me journal a lot easier of the daily things I eat.</p>
<p>MyFoodDiary.com carries over 50,000 online items and allows you to input your own items.  When inputting your items you simply need to know the &#8220;Nutritional Facts&#8221; of the item or do a Google search and try to find out what the Nutritional information might be.</p>
<p>Whoever was on the programming team for MyFoodDiary.com was very smart because they have an item called &#8220;The Fridge&#8221; that allows you to add items to &#8220;The Fridge&#8221; to select in the future to add to your daily journal.</p>

<p>MyFoodDiary.com provides reports and can also track your daily exercise activities.  This past weekend I went Golfing and added 4 hours of Golfing &#8220;Cart Path Only&#8221; to my exercise activities.</p>
<p><strong>So far since joining I have lost over 4.2lbs. </strong></p>
<p>Other things that amaze me about this site are how it sheds light on the type of foods I eat and what I should be eating. It&#8217;s quite a challenge because I strive to get smiley faces every day now instead of frowns.</p>
<p>For example, if you consume too much Trans Fat you would get a frown because you shouldn&#8217;t have any Trans Fat.  </p>
<p>In conclusion, I&#8217;m excited about this new journey and hopefully by the end of the year I&#8217;ll be close to my goal weight.</p>

<p>This week was good. I feel that I ate meals that were fairly healthy.  I&#8217;m toning down breakfast to fiber one bars.  Last couple of days I should have been averaging below 2500 calories.  </p>
<p>Tonight the wife and I went to Taquila Mexican Restaurant so you know I earned about 1500 plus calories there.  This weekend should be fairly simply.  Got to go to a wedding tommorrow. I&#8217;ll be looking for salads.</p>
<p>Went to the doctor today and everything looked good. My blood pressure was perfect.  </p>

<p>I need to start getting creative with some of meals so my blog is not so boring. I did have an amazing lunch at Maggiano&#8217;s today. Lunch provided by Symantec.  I was very proad of myself becuase I forced myself to have very small portions. I would would recommend this restaurant to any corporate business or couple that simply wants to have a romantic evening out.  You can follow Maggiano&#8217;s on Twitter.com/maggianos.</p>
<p>The food was excellent and fresh. Servers were very polite and my Iced Tea was always full!! Would give Maggiano&#8217;s 4 stars.  Come hungry!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a lot of my friends and family know I have dealt with a weight problem for over 11 years now.  Before getting married in June of 1998 I weighed only 205lbs.  Not to blame my weight on getting married, but it seemed I cared a lot more about being healthy when I was single.   After struggling to simply play a game of golf on April 11, 2009 I have had enough!  Today was my last day of eating anything I want without any control.</p>
<p>As of Monday April 13, 2009 I&#8217;m starting back up the Fatmanonadiet.com web site with more content, reviews and resources to help people in the same situation as myself. </p>
<p>My plan is still to count calories but also watch the fat content of each food I eat.  When I weighed only 205lbs I worked out at the gym a lot more and also supplemented my meals with EAS meal supplement shakes.  I found the EAS meal replacements were a nice high protein snack that took care of the 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. snack times.</p>
<p>With Twitter I also have found that there are other people that are dealing with the same situation I am. So I hope that I can get some involvement and learn from others what works for them.</p>
<p>My biggest struggles are eating right and being creative with homemade meals.  I know also that I have to get off my butt and go to the gym on a regular basis.</p>
<p>The tools that I&#8217;m planning on using are as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Iphone for taking pictures of different meals.</li>
<li>iLoseIt! iPhone application to track calories.</li>
<li>WordPress Blog to journal my meals and activities each day.</li>
</ul>
<p>I look forward to this new journey and hope that you all can help me with food ideas and encouragement.  </p>
