			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>I’m here to update all of you on my progress of my lifestyle and weight loss journey.  As of last Friday September 30, 2011 I weighed in a 257.8. Down from 310 July 1, 2010. For total loss of 52.2lbs.</div>

<p>It’s pretty hard to comprehend losing over 50lbs. It’s hard to conceive that I gained that much in the first place. 13 years ago I weighed just a little over 205lbs. Not to blame it on marriage, but when you get comfortable with anything you can let things slide. Weight was obviously one of things I let slide in my life.</p>
<p>I’m on a steady workout regimen now 2-4 days a week. Mostly 30-60 minute Interval workout sessions on the Elliptical. I can tell my legs are getting stronger which feels so good! Over the last week and ½ I have added machine weights.</p>
<p>I would encourage anybody struggling with weight loss to simply stick with it. I’m still using Weight Watchers Online simply because it keeps me accountable. I try to journal my food and gym activity every day. This is very important!</p>
<p>My next challenge is to start a treasure hunt for new exciting things to eat. Over the last two months I have cut my Carbohydrate intake by half. No more deserts, fast food, fried food, etc. is also part of the regime. Lately I have started to just eat a salad during lunch and if I get hungry eat some almonds at the 10:00 a.m. and 3 p.m. “hungry” times.</p>
<p>My last word of advice: “DRINK WATER”. I’ll say it again: “DRINK WATER”. Water is an amazing thing when losing weight. I try to drink 160oz of water a day and I my body tells me now when I don’t.</p>
<p>I want to thank you all (you know who you are) that have stuck with me so far through this journey and also ones that have provided words of encouragement.</p>
<p>I’m not done yet. My goal is to get back to 205. My next big goal is 230lbs. Let’s Keep Pressing On!</p>

<p>Dinner was late tonight. I would like to first talk about my workout this evening. I used a Precor EFX 546 Elliptical machine.  I&#8217;m going with the calories shown I lost on the machine this time. On CaloriesPerHour.com you have to input your strides per mintue to get a correct reading.</p>

<p>Since it was getting late, Rachel and I decided to just pick up some dinner from Roly Poly&#8217;s again.  I tried a different menu item tonight.</p>

<p>Roast Beef, Jalapeno Jack Cheese, Sliced Jalapenos, Onion, Roasted Red Peppers, Lettuce, Tomato, BarBQ Basil Mayo</p>
<p><strong>Whole Sandwich: 548 calories</strong></p>

<p>For desert tonight I tried a low calorie ice cream.  Stone Ridge Ice Cream Cones: <strong>100 Calories</strong> </p>

<p>I pretty amazed that after all I ate today it still only adds up to 1451 calories.  I actually feel like I porked out today.  Well tommorrow is going to be light for breakfast and lunch.  I have some friends coming over tommorrow night for the All-Star Game and we are thinking about ordering out from <a title="Bandanas Bar-B-Q" href="http://www.bandanasbbq.com/" target="_blank">Bandanas</a>.</p>
